Enterprise
architecture, BPM and Risks management

Today's
CEOs know that the effective management and exploitation of information
through IT is the key to business success, and the indispensable means to
achieving competitive advantage. An enterprise architecture addresses this
need, by providing a strategic context for the evolution of the IT system
in response to the constantly changing needs of the business environment.
Furthermore, a good enterprise architecture enables you to achieve the right
balance between IT efficiency and business innovation. It allows individual
business units to innovate safely in their pursuit of competitive advantage.
At the same time, it assures the needs of the organization for an integrated
IT strategy, permitting the closest possible synergy across the extended
enterprise.

Process - Business Process Modeling and Management
Modeling
the architecture of the business processes makes it possible to improve the
performances of the company and to define the IT's strategy in order to align
it on the company's marketing strategy.
Process
modeling allows executive managers to easily understand how a small, medium
or large size enterprise operate today and within a hierarchy of details. It
helps to conceive and validate scenarios for its future organization. This
technique implements methods recognized by the international authorities for
quality: norm ISO 9001-2000, and proved reliable in the whole world. It is
based on TOGAF framework, VOLLE, UML and WOJTYNA/BRANDENBURG methodologies.

IT - IT Architecture - Urbanization and cartography of the IT system
As
for the processes we require for a method to create a useful model of the I.T.
This method must take again information from the processes architecture in
order to exploit its results and align the IT architecture with the business
requirements. It is the urbanization. This word, borrowed from the
town-planning and the plans of occupation of the grounds makes it possible to
structure the whole I.T. with building blocks including: zones, districts and
small islands. These blocks are built by taking again the constituent elements
of the process activities (classes of concept ). The principal advantage of
this technique, in addition to the fact that it proposes a model, authorizes
an incremental reorganization, zone by zone and district by district and, as
in the cities, it allows the cohabitation of new with the old one. Thus
creates a gentle passage between the current situation and the future
organization.
It is possible nevertheless to use the tool, for simply charting all the
components (cartography) of an IT and their interactions.
